Funny how that happens, isn't it? I've got two of these elusive birds now. One I had ordered from Squadron back in October, when the re-issue whispers were rampant. The other my dad found on-line and sent as a Christmas gift. They both arrived within days of each other. My wife seriously wanted me to send the Squadron one back. No way was that going to happen. Now I can make the MELB as well as a gunship if I want.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

So, I have a couple minutes to kill, so I went into a local hobby store that I hit about once a year. And Low and behold there's a Dragon AH-6 Littlebird in 1/35 sitting on the shelf. Now, mind you, my normal hobby shop guy said he hasn't been able to get them. (these two buy from the same local supplier). So I said to hobby shop guy "where;d you get it? and if you can ever get another, I'll take it." Monday. He called wednesday to say he has another ready to be picked up.

I don't know whether my REAL hobby shop guy is just getting a bum deal from the supplier or whether he never really looked for it.

But, hey, they're out there.
