Jon,
Congrats on both! I know that you will be busy there, but enjoy your time at Mother and her museum as much as you can.

As for the flight phys, crewchief all the way baby, never required more than cl3. None of those dreaded two finger gloves for a few more years here!

Pharaoh,

I will do that! I'll be at Lewis from mid-June to mid-July and will most likely be commissioning there on July 16th. Of course, I'll be in the field for a good chunk of that time, but should have a day off somewhere in there. Would love to meet up!

Well i wish you the best of luck. I know from the stories I hear that the training for the apache is long and very mentally taxing. If you come to Lewis for OBC you should look me up. I can give you a tour of our facility and let you chat with some of our flyers. Great bunch of guys. We are all one big family. For some reason it seems aviation units are that way. The 66 is the single biggest aviation unit in the army so we have a little bit of everything.

The Links on the LSI Rucker site seem to be down for some reason. Sorry for the bum info, you' can get all the good study guides from Wings, The Hanger and Copysmith outside the main gate of Rucker. Happy flying!

Congrats Jon, the beautiful thing is that after the Class I, you never have to take it again, its all class II. Oh you might want to check this site out http://www.lsirucker.com/ It will help you get a head start on the fair weather freedom fighter and part time shuttle recovery vehicle known as the TH-67A! Wish I had it when I started IERW.

Atta Boy Jon!
(You do know what they say about "atta boys" right?)
Flight physicals were always the biggest pain in the rear, for the obvious reason! I was so glad when the USCG went to a flight physical every other year.
Good luck! I know you'll do just fine.

Don
I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

Hey all!

Well, its been a few days, but I'm back in Lubbock after one heck of a time at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA. The reenacting end of it sucked, but the flea market was good and I got some neat WWII stuff. Sadly there was no Vietnam Attack Aviation stuff there, though.

BUT, I did get my Level 1 Flight physical taken care of! I will be going to B Company, 1-104th Aviation this coming fall and will be headed to Rucker as soon as they can send me!

So, needless to say, things are going well here!

By the way, Osprey has announced the Apache book.
