I know... you'd think they'd label a kit according to the picture on the front of the box... shouldn't surprise me though, a while back I got a 1/48 Heller kit that had a picture of the OH-58C (flat window panels) on the box and labeled just "OH-58". Inside however, was an OH-58A windshield, OD plastic with raised civilian paint scheme lines and civilian side windows! GRRRR!!!

Oh well, such is modeling. Smile [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Here's the link to where I asked about it. A couple of links are there regarding model reviews.

I've got the Special Hobby TH-55A. I haven't built it yet, probably won't but I recall the canopy/body of the helicopter to be thin vacuformed clear plastic. I haven't looked at the kit in a while so I may be wrong.

There's suppose to be a MPM in 1/72 of Hughes TH-55A.

How are you Ol Lefty, welcome to the FSM Forums!

There does exist a TH-55 in 1/72 scale (very tiny)....

http://www.daveswebshop.com/sh72016.shtml

The biggest headache associated with the model is the TWO PIECE windscreen... [:/]

For some reason, model manufacturers completely ignored this aircraft, along with the TH-23. (same company makes an H-23 in 1/72.... but they call it an H-12?)

Hope this helps, take care, and come again anytime! Smile [:)]
