Got a book today that i ordered a year ago(from my LHS) called
Vietnam Choppers
Helicopters in battle
1950-1975
by Simon Dunstan
from Osprey
History of all helo's used in Vietnam by all service's looks like it could be a good reference. Has a chapter on Dust-Off's with some pic's that could be useful for those doing Medivac's

John,

Does it have mention of the ACH-47's in there? Just curious, a lot of otherwise accurate histories completely overlook them. Sounds like a GREAT book though, I know you'll enjoy it! Smile [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Frank,

I have a copy of the same book and it has about two and half pages of text (basic history) on the ACH-47 and just two pictures. One 3/4 frontal and a shot of the armored left pilots seat and the armored bulkhead behind it.

Clear Left!
