Defineately go with the cobra co cockpit. For some added extra exterior detail, get the eduard PE set - scrap the interior pe and use the exterior plates and screens, along with the anti-sway braces for the wing pylons. The Pe set also gives some rudmentry weapons corrections like the gattling gun.

It did wonders for my 1/32 Cobra 'Iron Butterfly'

Grant,

The CC cockpit kit comes with an accurate M-28 turret. If you're looking to do a TAT-102 turret, you'll have to do some filling, sanding and modifying of that turret. I can send you some detail shots if you'd like. Also, the kit comes with the XM-18 underwing minigun pods as an armament option. They're rough, but with some work, they can be made into pretty good representations of the XM-18. If you're going to put rocke pods on it, I recommend getting Chief Snake's 1:32 pod set too.

The kit comes with the turret that has 1 minigun and 1 40mm grenade launcher side by side, not sure if that is the TAT-102 turret or not. It is a good kit, a little weak on exterior detail, but still a great kit. Good luck, I have built a couple of them from the original releases. The new release with updated wings and new rocket packs looks nice.

I'm going to pick up that 1/32 Snake from Hobby Lobby while they're on sale this week. Not having ever built one before, what should I be aware of regarding fit, errors, etc? Already planning on getting Chief Snake's cockpit set for this.

I plan on building15262 "Virginia Rose II" (one of the first Cobras built and the first to fly in Vietnam). I know it has the TAT-102 turret, so only one minigun, Does the kit feature this option?
