Another outstanding set of photos, HeavyArty! I can't really think of anything else to say. Those figures really capture the look and add that last piece of detail to an already incredible MH-6. Thanks for sharing with us.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

John,
You're right. I did miss them. I'll need to go add them now. Thanks.

Looks good, but you need to add boom mikes to the pilots flight helmets

shows you how the Military pulls out all stops to keep the good ole Loach in the air. The airframe of the actual OH-6 (AH-6 Gunship version and MH-6 MELB and the MD-500) is almost 40 years old which make it only a few years younger than the Venerable UH-1 Huey.

and if im not mistaken isnt that a Dragon MH-6 kit which happened to have been originally released as the MD-500 just with the deletion of the Anti-Tank Rocket pods and the addition of the other tidbits as seen on your model?

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

Gino,
Out-freaking-standing, man! That looks awesome. I love all the details, the goggles, gloves, camo pattern.....everything. You really pulled it off. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

MH-6J MELB with Operators and Pilots added

This is the same model I posted earlier. I have added Pilots from the MRC/Academy OH-58D kit. These represent modern pilots well and have seat belts already molded onto them. The Operators are molds from a friend of mine in Italy, Klaus Pagano (Avus at FSM). He has made the legs, torsos, and heads with new MITCH helmets. I think they capture the look of current Operators well. I modified M-4s with sights and a silencer on one as well. Hope you like them.
