Hawkwrench -- UH-60 crash photos

Hawkwrench,
Its not Super 64, but here are some pics of crashed UH-60s to give you an idea of how they look. I still think you should not hollow out the ground, but just crush it into the position you want.

Super 64 crash sceen from the movie.

Good luck.

HeavyArty,Thanks for the photos,I think you just saved the day.I've wondered for days how this was going to be done.I'm going to use the crash damage from your first photo and use the aircraft position that was in the movie photo.I know a dio captures a moment in time, but I don't have any crash scene photos from super 61,so I'll use yours as a basis to go by.The file you want to send me, does it contain the decal sheet from the DAP?If so ,I don't need it after all because I just bought the DAP.Thanks for the offer anyway,I appreciate it.One more question-How are these photos from you and the other authors get on the forum?

The decal file I have is to replace the crappy, incorrect yellow colored ones in the Academy DAP kit. They are the proper shade of OD Green as on actual 160th SOAR birds. Don't know if they will help, as I stated in the other post, not sure if the helos were black or Heli Drab Green in Operation Gothic Serpent.

To post photos:

First you have to host the photos somewhere on the web. PhotoBucket is one good, free site. Any will do, but don't use MSN Photopost, for some reason it doesn't work with FSM, it won't link. Next, if you go to the Reply To Topic tab, not the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page, you will see a row of icons. To the right is a yellow box with a mountain on it. This is the "insert photo" button. Click it and you will get the followeing code, [ img] [ /img] (only without spaces). To insert a photo, go to the photo on the web ad right click it and you will see Properties. Click on Properties and you will get a box that shows its properties. In this will be a line that says, Address: and be followed by an http code. Copy this code and paste it between the [ img] http://starbulletin.com/2002/02/10/news/artf.jpg [ / img] code (again without spaces) as such.

When done without spaces, you get the photo.

Pretty easy, good luck.
