Nothing to add. Snake pretty much summed it up. Some tests years ago. Worked but it is a very heavy missle - you couldn't really carry anything else on that wing. Nothing recent there that I know of.

I have seen photos of AH-1Ws firing the Maverick, http://www.army-technology.com/projects/supcobra/supcobra5.html
but the trials were from years ago, and were mostly to just test the feasability of the equipment, I believe. Perhaps supercobra can give confirmation, but I've heard nothing about using them recently.

i read somewhere that the USMC is testing the Maverick AGM on the AH-1W. does anyone know about this? are they using it in the field yet?
