Frank,

Thanks buddy! For everyone else out there, Frank found the info on the UH-1H I crewed back in 1971 out of Chu Lai, Vietnam. We stood down the unit in Oct and I last saw "Witch Doctor 650" the first week in Nov. Seems she ended up with the VNAF, and was lost in Apr of 1972. I climbed on a Freedom Bird in Da Nang on April Fools Day of 1972 to come home. Quite a coincidence.

You're welcome,

It does seem strange how you and "WitchDoctor" parted near the same time, but never knew about it. Yes, I think a tribute of sorts is in order? Smile [:)] {hint hint}

Take care,

Frank,

Very nice Shark model! I've got one half way finished, first one to sport the "teeth" with the 24 shot retangle rocket pod. To do a good "Witch Doctor" I would have to canibalize an MRC UH-1C kit for the transmission, mast, and pylon assy to add to the Panda kit. Not to mention the pilots seats, instrument panel, tail rotor blades, etc. Maybe could fit it in between the kitchen remodeling and the floors.

Clear Left!
