more on the AH-64
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 5:01 PM
I just decided on a whim to start a new thread on this.
Would anyone happen to have any reference on AH-64's from 4th BDE, 1 ID. circa 1998-2002?
I was stationed near Katterbach airfield in that time frame and thought it would be cool to model one of the birds I used to track during training. And it would look cool in a dio with the STINGER MANPADS vehicle I am going to do.

Dana,

I've got some shots from 2002-2004 of 1st ID birds. Mainly in Iraq, but I may have a shot or two of birds in Germany as well. Here's the 1-1st official homepage.

Good luck!

The Ah-64d fires hellfire missles, and lauches rocket fire from the wings.............plus it has a 30 mm cannon which follows the pilots direction of sight...........using ihads. The hellfire seeking missles lock on after or before launch.
