Will papa ever build a helo kit?

Remember that Ch46-E I started a while ago?
Then I had to stop because I was hired to build a old Aurora 1/25 Chitty bang car.

Well I'm almost done with the contract build ..( which I will not ever do gain )
but......two weekends ago while at a local contest I saw a 1/48 B-24J ...it wasn't the best build... but it got my gears in motion...besides the B-17 its my second fav fixed wing. well a buddy in my club hooked me up with a 1976 original release ( nice kit with excellent fit too! ) and now I have about 50.00 bucks in aftermarket goodies but what really got me going was these mew nose art decals by Zotz! and after I saw this I freaked! I could have used the famous dragon and his tail but its too common. Also this will be my first project that about 90% will be covered with bare metal foil and some metalizers.

Cuz summer is not the best building time for me... I should have this B-24 done in time to hop on the 1/35 Hook...when its released.

Here is that nose art I'm using and this plane survived the war but never made it back to the U.S. Oh Mama! Mischief [:-,]

PE-64,

Actually, from what I've read in several different nose art books, she did make it back stateside, along with "Mabel's Labels" and a few others by that artist (can't remember his name). Sadly, they were all smelted before the warbird movement really got moving. Such a travesty!

Thanks Jon!

I believe they all flew together 'Dragon and his tail', 'Mabel's Labels' and 'Cocktail Hour'.....and a few more of the 64th Bomb squadron.

So I'm assuming that they were all done by the same artist?
