Chris,

Cobra is looking good! $9 for a MRC 1/35 UH-1C Hog! Way to go! I am happy at $13 when Hobby Lobby has the 50% off sales.

Clear Left!

Great looking progress, especially on the decals! I can't wait to start mine.

Thanks.

AH1Wsnake - The decals actually went on pretty good. The snake did curl up a bit when I got it wet but it laid down pretty good. Took a bit of work to get it to go around the edges of the body but after working some Micro Sol on it snuggled right down into all the details pretty nicely.

supercobra - Thanks for that advice. The instructions were pretty vauge on that. As sson as i pull the masking off I will be able to fix that.

Looks great but... Since you asked for comments, looks like you got the HUD glass installed one. The clear plastic should sit on the highest bump on top of the pilot's instrument panel glare shield. Rotate it horizontally 180 degrees so that the glass is leaning towards the pilot. The side frames can be painted black - only the center is clear.

Looks great, Chris. Cockpit looks pretty good, and your son has good taste in decals, lol. Tell me, how did those big decals from the Twobob's sheet go on for you? Any trouble with them or recommendations on handling?

Looking good so far. I too have the TwoBobs sheet for mine, haven't decided which decals to go with yet.

Made a bit of progress on it. Got it painted and started on the decals. Still have plenty more to put on it though but here is a look so far. The version I am doing is the one that my 6 year old told me he wanted it to look like. Of coarse he picked out the biggest decal on the sheet.

Thanks y'all. I am doing the Academy 1/35 Super Cobra. Al the gauge detailed was drybrushed with white and aluminum. Around the one cluster was done with metallic aluminum as it was as close as I could get to some pics I took of one.

Good looking front office for a Cobra. Which kit are you building?

This is the first time I am attempting a copter. I never even really build anything that flies so I am up for comments for sure on this. Here's what I have done so far on the cobra.
