Now I've gotta do ANOTHER AH-64D conversion!

You are definetely an Officer and a Gentleman. Good deal. Still have a spot in my heart for 1st CAV, it was my first duty station as a young 2LT. May go back there after CGSG, in a couple years, as well.

Keep us posted.

Jon, I figured you would be the one to come through. Here is his email from Armorama: anton@antonwebber.com

Hope you can help him out. I'm sure they would credit you with the build on the write-up. You would be immortallized at the 1CD museum. Hope it works out and let us know what comes of it.

Could probably write it off as a Tax Deduction since it is donated to a non-profit museum as well.

Gino,

Hmmm.... but then I'd have to give up my D model!

Have you got the guy's contact info? I'm almost done with my Longbow and could definitely put it in 5135's markings. Heck, I could even drive it down to Ft. Hood!

Gents,
A guy over at Armorama is looking for a donation to the 1 CAV museum of a large scale AH-64D to put in a display with a rotor blade from one of their birds shot down in Iraq during the invasion. I figure someone here may be willing to help. I have a Revell A model built up, but no Kangam D model, I know, not too accurate, but would probably be close enough for them.
