The correct cost of the kit which I bought - the desert version - is £175. I can already visualise the diorama on which it will sit.....

From a post at Helikit News from someone who already bought it. Hope you are sitting down?

"For the Regular version its GBP127 and for the Gulf War version with some addons for new exhausts etc its GBP 148."
Full thread: http://www.network54.com/Forum/thread?forumid=163130&messageid=1112743103

According to my conversion calculator, that's
Regular version: $242.63 USD
Gulf War version: $282.73 USD

Way too rich for my blood. Hope you like it and keep us posted on progress so we can live vicariously through your build.

Saw the much awaited Lynx at their stand at the Scottish Nationals in Perth, Scotland, and just had to buy one! The credit card is now in intensive care!!
The kit is a beauty and an initial look through the box of resin shows some tremendous detail. The finish on the interior is outstanding - all the quilting and the roof-mounted TOW system panels in the cabin roof interior are exquisite. Full photo-based instructions, very nice brass bits and pieces and a CD ROM as well!
Pictures have been taken by Chris Jones of HeliKit News of the parts laid out on a table, so keep a lookout on his site.
Current club commitments prevent me starting on the Lynx, but I will try and arrange for a photo-build up once it begins. Looking forward to this one....
