Little Bird Rotors
Posted by Cobrahistorian on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 12:29 AM
Hey guys,

Ok, I've got a question. Does anyone have a spare Little BIrd or Loach main rotor and hub? My OH-6 m/r got crushed when I moved to this apartment and I haven't even looked at it for a year. Since its about 50% done, I was hoping to finish it pretty quickly, but will probably make it an MH-6 and use the planks from my CC set.

If anyone's got a spare rotor and is willing to part with it, lemme know!
Thanks guys!

Jon,
If it is the DML kit, there is a spare blade in the kit. You get two identicle sprues with 3 rotor blades on each, for 6 total. Rotors only take 5. Take a look in your box. If you can't find it though, let me know. I have two extras from my kits.

I have the spare blade and thought about that, too, but it sounds like he needs the mast/hub assembly itself and all 5 blades?? Jon, we need a little more clarificationBig Smile [:D] If the blades are the only issue, I'm sure there are enough people here with the extra kit blade that we can scrounge up 5 for ya.

Ditto what Gino and AH1WSnake said. I forgot all about that extra blade that comes with the kit. I got two LBs and an H500D at home right now - there's three right there.

Ok guys, thanks for the response. I have to look, but I think I may even have two spare blades from the OH-6 kit and then one from the LB kit. I don't have the hub or mast, though, so I'd need those as well. Got 2 birds goin now and they're both lookin really good!
