Rob,

Don't know if this will help you much, but "Model Aircraft Monthly April 2003" have an 8 page spread on the AAC AH1 with Longbow Radar fitted.

Shots include open bays and cockpit interiors. I also have a cutaway line drawing (in colour) which may help.

By the way Rob, the AAC is not "Royal". It is known as, Army Air Corps.

Regards.
Pops.

The Hasegawa WAH-64D is a straight reissue of their AH-64D, and represents one of the first Longbows to enter into the Army Air Corps. Since then, the WAH-64D has been fitted with the Helicopter Integrated Defensive Aids System (HIDAS). The Revell Of Germany 1/48 AH/WAH-64D has all the bits to build a HIDAS'ed Longbow. You can pick that kit up at a fairly decent price and have the HIDAS bits for your Hasegawa Longbow, plus still build either an AH-64A or US Army AH-64D from the RoG kit.

As for good photo references;
http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search There are around 30 pics of the WAH-64D in the photo database

Rob,

I haven't seen it firsthand, but it is probably just a reboxing of their superb AH-64D kit with a few extra tidbits specific to the WAH-64. In any case, it is the best AH-64 kit out there right now.

Any one built the Hasegawa Royal Army Apache Kit, 1/48? I'm sure it is nearly identical to the other Hasegawa Apache kits. Is it a good kit? I picked up one that was on clearance at a local hobby shop. Any references?
