Only model of the CH-53E was made by Italeri in 1/72 scale. It is currently Out of Production. Still pops up on Ebay from time to time though.

Good luck.

By the way, use regular sentance case for posting. All caps is seen as yelling on the forums. Regular sentance case is easier to read as well.

I feel your pain, I'd like to see a 1/48 -53E in plastic, to sit next to my -46. But as HeavyArty pointed out, it's a rare one to come across. I keep hoping one of the major kit makers will hear all of our cries and get one of these on the shelves soon.

As a coincidence, there is one on the shelf on my local hobby shop (in Canada).

It goes for something like 25-30 Canadian bucks.

Post a reply, and I'll see what he'll do..

Hey Holdren,

The Italeri Kit has decals for HMH-464 and HMM-365. Revell did a reboxing which had some goofed up decals. I think it had 365 decals as well. Keep your eye out, they're out of production, but can still be found. I had to do some scratchbuilding on mine, and I'm was never very happy with the rotor head.

I thought I'd add, right now I'm deployed too, thankfully not to Iraq. Been there, it wasn't fun. Keep em' flying.
