Hello,

the boats of the DGzRS donĀ“t have helicopters on board. The platform is used to deliver (oh my bad school english) persons from the boat to a helicopter. The DGzRS works here with the german marine, they use the Sea King Mk. 41. This model ist actually in program with Revell (SAR version).
If you need more information of the DGzRS, use our HP "www.dgzrs.de" or "www.forum-seenot.de".

Greetings

Andreas

Confused [%-)] I'm planning to build the "Hermann Marwede," a modern SAR boat ("Seenotrettungskreuzer") of the Deutschen Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbruchiger (DGzRS) in 1/72 from Revel Germany, when it becomes available in the fall. It has a small helo platform on a stern superstructure.

What existing 1/72-scale helo model (available in the US) would be appropriate to build and set on that platform?
