Yep, I know. it sucks. We just got all the new chit. I do not like flying at night in the cold, we have to stay on the gun and it is F-ing cold. I may grab the 240 and stay on the ramp this time, next to the Engs .

Hey SsgtD if you havent been there make sure u bring plenty of cold weather gear..It gets cold like overnight at the end of October / early November. Its like there is no Fall there it just goes from summer heat to freezing cold. I spent half my deployment in the heat and half freezing my N#@%s off. The best gear I got my hands on was Underarmor. I used the heat gear in summer and the cold gear in the winter..It was worth its weight in gold. Let me know if u want to know what to bring and what not to. Good Luck!

Hey Holdren, how do u like lovely Al Asad? Stay away from Trooper chow hall..unless its gotten better since I left. Hope its calmed down some. Keep your head on a swivel and stay safe. PS that pic you see was taken at AA.
