Not mine, but some observations on the Revell AH-64A. It does not come with wire cutters. It was originally produced in the mid to late 1980s and the wire cutters weren't added to AH-64s yet. Also, his paint looks good, but is too green, looks like Testors MM Dark Green. Should be helo drab green, very dark, almost a black-green. Missing most stencils and markings too. Good job, but more of a generic company display piece with little surface detail than a detailed scale model. Don't get me wrong, it looks really good.

what colour did u use to paint it, how mix the paint todo the shading, and was it ab'ed or hand painted??
also, did u lerave some parts off, coz i notice that my 1/72 apache has wire cutters(?) ontop of the cockpit and near the gun, while urs doesnt.... im no expert, i just wanna know if the revell kit is accurate or not...

Thanks, Jon, Papa, and John!

I've been working on these Apache suppressors for the last 2 years...here is a cutaway photo of the fixed RH assembly:

Dan,

Lookin good, I'm doing the same to one and its about 85% done. Just out of curiosity, what kind of suppressors are those? I've never seen anything like that on an Apache.

This started as an "A" model modified to a "D."
Finished this one yesterday. It is was sent out today for a presentation by my company to the ARMY in Huntsville....
the sponsons were modified, the suppressors were added, and the radar mast was foam turned on a lathe.

Thanks for looking...

Dan
