I know the one you speak of... That looks like it'd be a tough one. Good luck with it and I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing that!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words. As for what blacks I used, Model Master Interior Black and Tamiya flat black for the rotors, wheels, and some shading. The whole model was misted with a lightened Interior Black.

Thanks again guys! Smile [:)]

Like others said I love how you shaded the black.

Keep up the good work.

Very nice job Albert! Makes my Chinook look like Censored [censored].

I like the fact you finished your two -47s in different Nightstalker schemes. Is there a gray MH-47 in the future?

What type(company, model etc...) of paint did you use for the body of the aircraft? Would look great on a Black Hawk I'm working on atm..

Anyways looks awesome ! Big Smile [:D]

Nice ... looks like you even have the rotors synched. How about the upper dual-boost actuators ... are they calibrated with the flight controls? It's realistic enough that you might even be able pump up the 200-inch accumulator and work the ramp or motor the APU startup sequence. Good job.

Hi Guys,

Just put the final touches on another Italeri MH-47E Chinook. I added some extra warts and antennas not included in the kit. I also made new dual chaff/flare dispensers (mounted between the windows). The finish is a mix of blacks from from Tamiya and Model Master. I used some post shading to give the black scheme some character. The subdued lettering is from Cobra Co. After applying the markings, a gray wash was misted over the airframe to cut the shading down and also subdue the lettering even more. Nav lights were made from droplets of white glue, while exhaust covers are made from aluminum foil (still need to add RBF tags). More In-prog info is posted here; http://www.arcforums.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55175

Comments and critiques welcomed as always. Thanks for looking. Smile [:)]
