Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm gonna be out of touch for the next six weeks or so. Uncle Sam's got me headed to Camp Swift, TX from Saturday until the 12th, and then Ft. Lewis, WA from 14 June until 17 July, so this'll most likely be my last posting for a while since I won't have internet access.

If anyone desperately needs me, Trigger74 knows how to get a hold of me.

I'll be back online sporadically around July 20th and will have regular internet access reestablished once I get back to New York in early August. Should have a hard date for Ft. Rucker by then too.

Take care, keep building and godspeed

Good luck, Jon. I'll be at the VHPA reunion in SF. Some of the guys are bringing photos and I will have the tape recorder with me. Catch you when you return.

John,

I'm the PAO out here where you're headed. You gotta stop in and say howdy.

UGH....

Well, I'm around for another week. Someone up at division screwed the pooch and didn't cut orders for me to go to AT with my battalion. I was on the list to go, and then suddenly, I wasn't. I guess Cadets don't count for much. So, I showed up this morning at the armory, full battle rattle, full ruck, ready to go and they tell me I can't go! I'm now stuck with a week's worth of ADSW at the armory working in supply....

Please let this next week go quickly....

Oops. A bit of a gaff-up. At least I get a chance to say 'bye for now'. Good luck, Jon. Congrats on all fronts and we look forward to hearing from you when you do get back online.

Cheers,

John,
I'm going to the Alpha roster for 5th regt. and I'll make sure we hook up. I'll write a story for our newspaper about the cadet/author with a bright future ahead .....
