Which model is better?
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, June 3, 2005 12:04 PM
Hello,

I want to build a model of the SH 60 Seahawk in 1/72. I could get two models, the one from Italeri and the Fujimi kit.
But which kit is better? Which has more details?

Gruß from germany

It depends what you meen with "better" easier to build or more detailed ?

The Italeri kit will probably be less fiddly to work with, but knowing Hasegawa, theirs well be more accurate and detailed.

Just using logical deduction based on previous experience here, since I haven,t build those 1/72 Seahawks.

On the bench : Revell's 1/125 RV Calypso

Maybe slightly off topic: I have recently built a Fujimi Japanese Rescue Black Hawk kit (UH60J) and am not too pleased with it: the " sit " of the model just doesn't look right to me and I think the main (front) landing gear legs should be lengthened. The machine almost lies flat on its belly.
I haven' built the other 1:72 Black Hawk or Sea Hawk kits so I am curious about them.
Regards, Gertjan
