I guess they all didn't show! They did on the preview and after I posted. I guess when I close my Yahoo Briefcase, they don't link any longer. I may have to try something else.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply gentlemen!

midnightprowler, I read that when the ejection handle is pulled, explosive bolts blast the rotors away, then 2 seconds later, the seat flys. They figured out that the blades are far enough away by then. Of course, that doesn't help if you are two seconds from impact...

Thanks Keyworth! I have more photos in this post.

Cmotz, I'm sorry. I live in Los Angeles. :-) As for the Defenders, this was built from an OH 6 kit in 1/72 scale by Italeri. The decals and part were all included. I thionk the kit can still be gotten.

LFirth, thank you. I had to take and pull those blades through my fingers after warming them in hot water to get that droop. That kit is an old Israeli Starfix kit that cost me 1.75 at a local closeout place.

Here are a few more kits. I hope that they show up:

Nice helicopters! I wish I'd gotten some of those Defenders when I had the chance, cause now I can't find anySad [:(] Did that Cobra have Hellfires? I wasn't aware that Cobras could carry them. Do you by any chance live in or near Traverse City, Michigan? Cause I saw a 1/72 Israeli Defender on display in a model store up there a couple weeks ago.

I saw something somewhere on that ejection seat. Got to wonder how that works tho, with rotor blades spinning above your head. Don't want to be the test pilot on that, for sure! Big Smile [:D]

As for having space, well, that is debatable. I do make room though, despite limited shelf space for all my 870+ kits. I'll post a couple pics to show you some of my display room.

Thanks gentlemen! I shall try to oblige. I still need to take a few more pictures. One of my most recent was the 1/72 scale Italian Mangusta by Italeri. That was a sweety kit that went together well! I'm also working on a KA 52 Hokum, the two-seat successor to the Ka 50. I also have a KA 34 Hokum as well.

How many people know that the Hokum is the first helicopter equipped with an ejection seat? :-)

Nice looking choppers Maddog. That Hokum, kinda reminds me of a weasel for some reason. Sure would like to see more of your work.

Here are some samples of the more than 40 Helicopters I have in 1/72 scale. Four of the five won awards at my I.P.M.S. meetings. Enjoy! Approve [^]
