the kit is great (the best Apache in this scale)!
Honestly I prefer EDUARD photoeatched set, if you have to choose between 2 of them.
#49201 AH-64D Apache set contains datailed parts for cockpit (colored sheet!) and for the exterior. And it cost less then Aires set. On eduard website you can look through instruction sheets for the upgrade set to see what exactly they have in it.

Well it's my oun opinion of courseSmile [:)]

Hasegawa AH-64D, Are Accessories An Overkill?

Hi all

I've decided(against my own better financial advisement) to buy a "real" helicopter kitWink [;)], the Hasegawa AH-64D (1/48).

I've seen that Eduard has an interior detailset for the D model and Aires had a replacement cockpit set.

If I got both would that be overkill or would they compliment each other?

If one will do which one is the better option?

Lastly, does the kit really need accessories or is it pretty good straight oob?

Thanks
John
