It looks like the engineers swiped some basic design ideas from Kamov. Put a fuselage around that thing and it wouldn't look so naked.

modelingmonkey-

Go for it! I think these things are pretty neat, although I admit to a fondness for any torpedo carrying aircraft. We have one of these QH-50's at the museum at Pax River in MD. I drive by everyday on my way to work, so if you need any detail pics, just let me know. Be glad to send more than you want. They may have some documentation in the archives as well.

Good luck,
Phil

Great idea. I've been trying to get some limited-run companies to consider some unusual subjects, but I've never tried Anigrad.

I'd send an e-mail to Anigrand Craftworks. They do all sorts of resin prototype rotary wing aircraft. They may have some in the works.

That's it right there. This would be my first scratch-build. Am I stoopid?(Please don't answer that)

Wow, that's gotta be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen!
Pretty much just a bare engine with counter-rotating rotors...

Looks like a challenging scratchbuild, though. Good luck!

I was recently told to leave the aircraft forum and take my questions elsewhere.
Does anyone know where I can find info on the remote-controlled, anti-sub DASH? I recently saw one on the deck of a battleship at a naval museum, and I was considering scratch-buildinging one.(If anyone tells me I should be asking this in the aircraft forum, there's gonna be h*!! to pay)
