                        Noticed this chopper sitting on the ramp at the Salt Lake Airport #2 in West Jordan, UT.
                        Took my camera down today and got permission to walk out and take a few pics.

                        There are a lot of Aussies who owe that particular aircraft and crew their homes and their very lives.She was out here last year and the year before helping our CFA guys fight serious bushfires in Victoria and South Australia.The two aircraft that came out were a god-send!Cool pics by the way.

                        Sadly yesterday one of these birds crashed at Fiumicino Airport in Rome during a test-fligt. One technician was killed and four injured.



                        Italian Forestal Service bought four Skycranes for fire fight.
