                        Hello fella's, anyone out ther know of any kits that would be available in 48th scale of early helos? Pre 1950? The end of WW2 the helo was a new technology and I would like to get some kits of these early birds. Any info would be grand. Thanks Smile [:)]

                        I know somebody is doing a R-4, but I don't remember who. I have the kit at home, but I'm at work right now.
                        Edit: Special Hobby makes the R-4 and it is 1/48th

                        A company called Huma Model puts out a German WWII helo called the Flettner Fl 282 in 1/48th. Saw it at a local hobby shop just the other day.

                        special hobby makes a 1/48 scale sikorsky R4. You can't get much earlier than that.
