Old MPC Copper Chopper
Posted by Rob Gronovius on Monday, July 11, 2005 3:10 PM
I was digging through my old kits and have been sorting them out. I ran across this old MPC kit that is a reboxed Airfix Sea King that came with a diver on a rescue platform and also some fuselage mounted torpedos (unused on the police version). Another feature is the sonar buoy raises and lowers as you rotate the main rotor.

Anybody else remember this old blast from the past?

Sounds like you've got a little gem there, Rob. I had never even heard of that kit (not surprising). So, are you going to build it, or set it aside in the "Rainy Day/Retirement Fund" stack?
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

I'll slap this one together. It had some interior sub-assemblies completed, not much of a collector's item, more of a novelty item.
