Dip the canopy in Future Floor Polish and let dry. It will be as good as, if not better, than new.

Phil - check your mail.. I have a slightly fogged HH-65 canopy. If it doesnt work I would call Trumpeter though, I know others who have had good luck with getting the part sent to them free!

PLEASE guys. i really need this part, and i dont want to spring for another $25 kit just for this one tiny part.

Did you try contacting Steven Int.? They have sent me replacement parts in the past for Trumpeter kits. Even if you broke it, they should replace it for you free or at a minimal charge to cover their time and postage. I woud give them a try.

thx for that, although i dont think they sell individual parts although i will call monday. if anyone has a HH-65a project that they scrapped i would definately buy this part from you.

(on another note, does anyone know what parts F1 and F2 are for? they arent listed in the instructions, and dont seem to go anywhere. theyre 2 small car-shaped clear windows.)

Try contacting Stevens International, Trumpeter's US Importer. They will supply replacement parts. Here is their website: http://www2.stevenshobby.com:5641/

HH-65A Trumpeter broken piece
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, July 17, 2005 12:16 PM
Hey, I was working on my Trumpeter HH-65A today and i accidentaly shattered one of the glass pieces. Its the large glass piece on the front of the aircraft (the windshield), and its the left half of it. If anyone has this piece from a scrapped trumpeter HH-65a and would be willing to sell it to me, I would be much obliged. Or if someone could show me where I could buy this piece, that would be great. Thanks.
