I have both A and D versions. However, the comments about its accuracy and quality have me a bit apprehensive. I'm hoping that Ra'anan Weiss, the owner of IsraDecal comes out with a conversion kit from the Kangnam A/D to the Israeli I model. He has a book out that is just fantastic. The title is "AH-64A/D Peten and Saraf in IAF service". The photos and text are superb. It is number 6 in the Aircraft in Detail series.

I always wonder why there´s still no decent Apache around in 1/35...

The Apache-shaped Kangnam thing has also found its way on my shelf, very deep in the corners though.

Heh.  I made the same mistake with the 1/48th Revell AH-64.  I spent a LOT of nights just sanding and trimming to get part halves to fit together decently.  I played with some detailing on it, and it came out not too bad, but I really wished I'd have checked around before making THAT purchase.  We were in a hobby store, and my wife commented on how she liked the way it looked, so I bought it to build for her.  It now sits on display in her craft room.

I was so happy when seeing your first post, but too bad ! Tongue Tied

I like the big scale of the KIT, in the worst case it will end up as sci-fi parts ! LOL !

Thanks anyway !

Sorry Aripin but i cannot help ya buddy i have moved several times since i had that kit and well like it says in past post's it is certanly a  really lousy kit.

You would be better off getting a 48th Hasegawa kit far better detail..

Sorry but no help mate..

Cheers

P.S Good Luck With The Kit.

Dear Robert,

I am a modeler from Indonesia, I have a Kangnam 1:35 AH-64A Apache.

Sometime ago, a termite attack has eaten up the box + decal + instruction sheet of this KIT (along with several large scale KITs Cry)

I would appreciate if any of you can scan the instruction sheet and decal of Kangnam 1:35 AH-64A Apache at 600 dpi and send them to aripinls@gmail.com

I have searched in the internet but not yet found any result.

Thank you for your kind attention and assistance

Regards,

Aripin

HUNK OF JUNK!

Totally inaccurate, poor fit, out of scale parts, and all around lousiness in general. I got so frustrated with mine, it ended up as a high speed test vehicle that measured impact on vertical surfaces.

The best thing that came out of the kit is the radome, which i cannibalized for my Revell 1/32 AH-64D conversion.

Randie's right. I too have no first hand experience with this kit but from what I've heard.... well, when he's back online, let's let Cobrahistorian tell that story.

I personally don't know about this kit BUT, from what I've read from other, more knowledgable than I, it's a piece of...............well, I think you know what I'm getting at.
Maybe one of those members will confirm or deny this.
