Look at this beauty guys! Honestly I never paid attention on this chopper but recently my friend sent me couple of pics of this aircraft from Le Burget.... I think its really niceSmile [:)] how sad that there is no model kits on market except for 10 year old Italeri 1/72 one. I'd love to have this Incredible bird in my collection in 1/48Wink [;)]

It would be nice along with a few others, sent Italeri a couple of e-mails for 1/48th scale helo's but (surprise) no reply

Thanks for the photos. The Mangusta looks like the mutant offspring of a Cobra and Apache! Narrow front profile, engine placement, and 20mm gun look cobra-ish, while the sighting system, landing gear, and side profile remind me of an apache.

And yes, another great helo to add to the 1/48th wish list. Sigh [sigh]

Yeah It's a nice bird.
During an exercise we had one of these helos swirling over our heads. It was impressive to see how it popped out from behind a hill without hearing it!

BTW Mangusta is also the name of an animal ... that eats cobras!
