Yep, have to agree with dai. You could use one of those french curve templates seen
at drafting supply stores (also decals at the automotive store) to create the mask.

Or I could create a black/white image that you could scale and print to use as a base mask

3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation

I think that the best way to go is to use artists frisket. Cut a stencil using a swivel knife and then use either of the two bits, one as a stencil the other as a mask, as you prefer.

it looks like the same person painted the 2? you can see similarities in certain female anatomy. and the general shape also.
unless they have a standard they follow?

The photos are authentic - I've got more like them. I think I even have the BU number for this bird too.

Better to paint it yourself though - who wants to try and color-match to brown decals??

Took me forever to figure out what was so interesting. Must agree with Lenny, think of the decals. Come to that, think of putting the finished model into a comp'.

Yeah, whats up with that? I guess its supposed to be inconspicuous. You may send the pics to Eagle Strike or Areomaster. They might be interested in them enough to make a decal sheet. Very unusual, though. Where did you find those? Lenny.
