Mil-24P Hind F

I bought just last week a 1/48th scale Mi-24 of Mini Hobby Models. At first look it looks quite good and well detailed. Anyone has already done experience with this kit. ?????? Any special remark to build it ?????
Thanks for your help.
I understand that Mini Hobby models is basically a Trumpeter kit, but at a much lower cost.

The expolanation from the shopowner was that this new name is a version of Trumpeter. I saw 1 Hind D and one hind P. It is in a big box. I also bought from the same trademark a Sukhoi SU-35. It looks also very good and nicely detailed. I got it here in Argentina from one of my Hobby shop. The price is really interesting compared with a Trumpeter. And it is good. Just ask your shop about this name: MiniHobbyModels. The box looks a lot like Trumpeter.
I hope you can find it.

Mini Hobby (also come boxed as HobbyCraft brand) reboxes a bunch of kits from other manufacturers. Most are poor copies. Be carefull of them. They have a wierd arrangement with other model companies from China. The Trumpeter reboxes are the same quality as the Trumpeter kits. The M1A1s, AS-90, Type 69, etc. are all Trumpeter kits. Their HMMWVs are of unknown origin and are horrible. Their BMPs are also bad, they are poor copies of either DML or Esci BMPs. The M2A2 is a rebox of a very poor copy of the Tamiya M2A2 by Lee Models of China. With the exception of the Trumpeter reboxes, I would stay as far away from them as possible, they are not worth the cheap prices. You generally get what you pay for.

I don't know about their helo reboxes, I haven't seen them before. Trumpeter does not have a 1/48 MI-24P in their catalog. Not sure of the history of the Mini Hobby MI-24P. It may be a copy of the Revell/Monogram MI-24 Hind D. From the parts layout of the kit on this site, (I don't read German so I don't know what it says) it looks like the same as the Revell/Monogram version.

More info on the subject from Heli Kit News as well.

"Trumpeter (Mini Hobby?) have released two 1:48 Hinds, #48310 is a Mi-24D, while #48311 is a Mi-24P (Hind-F). They seem to owe their origins to the Revell/Monogram kit, but have been 'enhanced' somewhat with engraved panel lines, rivets, and minor detail changes, not all of them necessarily beneficial. It is said that the additional runners that hold the cannon and larger rocket pods for the F variant are "woefully innacurate" in comparison with Cobra Company's resin updates for the Revell/Monogram kit."

Good luck.
