Has anyone noticed that the lower pressure plate and scissor links was not part of the kit? I have created my own, and just realized that I'll most likely have to extend the M/R P/C Rods as a result. When I can get hold of a digital camera, I'll post a picture.

The lower pressure plate bolts up to the bottom of the M/R shaft extension, the portion of the shaft between the hub and the swashplate. The scissors links attach to the lower pressure plate and the swashplate. The scissors drive the swashplate so the pitch rods can do their job. Give me a few minutes to scan my TM excerpt and figure out how to upload the image and I'll show you. OK?

First, you need to host them at a photo site on the web that allows direct photo linking. www.Photobucket.com is a good site. Once hosted, copy the URL for the photo and place it between the following code [ img] [ /img]. Leave out all spaces, they are just there so the code shows up in this post. That is it, pretty simple.

Outstanding! I created a lower pressure plate, scissor links, and added the scissor bearings to the swashplate, out of scrapps from the kit. A digital image of my model will have to wait til another time.

You hit the nail on the head! Excellent work! You have a lower press plate, scissors, and swashplate scissor bearings too. Your work is extremely impressive! Let me know if you need info, diagrams, etc. I'll bet your bird will be able to turn and burn when your done.
