It was built strickly OOB, no mods.

Try this.  I found a book on the Pedro.  It's called "Kaman H-43  an illustrated history"  by Wayne Mutza from Schifferin military history books.  It has the complete history of this monster with some real good pictures.  It even has a shot of one of our ships that crashed on base during a mission.  I think it cost close to 20.00, but as far as I'm conserned, it's worth it.

Im betting if we could hunt down an old instruction sheet for this kit Id bet it has the decal instructions for the decal set included with the newer release.Can anyone scan that page out of an older manual for the helicopter?This would be the USAF rescue scheme in overall Gray with the yellow highlights.Like the picture in the link below,

Yes I see the same problem.

In the kit instructions they only show you the decal placement for the camo vietnam bird and a WA department of natural resources bird.Yet theres a sheet full of very nice decals for a USAF rescue bird as well and no decal placement instructions for them.I thought the same thing.When I do this kit I want to do the rescue version,theres plenty of pictures online of this version and most the decals wouldnt be a problem to locate where they go but a lot of the smaller ones would be.

I bought this kit and its in my too do list,

I was really dissappointed with the interor and theres no interior aft of the cockpit bulkhead at all!Yes cobra company makes an interior set for this but its not cheap.I thought about a scratch build but that wont be easy.It will stay in my pile probably till I can afford the CC interior kit.Its also too bad companies dont make after market helicopter crews in 1/48-1/32 in many different poses.
