Thanks all,

LemonJello - it is 19 1/2 inches long.

John - thanks for the input. I probably should not have followed the painting instructions. I will correct that problem.

Good looking bird, need to paint the area on the blades that you have silver, black, that area is part of the blade itself

Good looking Huey you've got there. That's a classic! Just how big is that thing in 1/24?
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

I don't usually do helicopters and this is only my second one. It is a Bell UH-1E as it was in Marine Mag-16 in Da Nang, Viet Nam 1966. The model is Revells 1/24 UH-1 Gunship and the only problems I ran into were that all the windows mount from the inside except the chin windows and the chin windows fit very poorly and the decals were thick and wouldn't settle down well. But it was a fun build. Enjoy.
