scratchbuilt Medevac Conversion for my 1/48th UH-60A in Progress pics

I am working on the litter pans right now - this is going to be a bird that i flew in Iraq, so it will only have three litter pans. Not sure how much of the extra med gear that we carried I will build but will at least do the backboard and some litters.

I think the Eduard diagram makes the seats from the academy kit and the floor tiedowns fit each other. For my project, I copied the floor diagram from the UH-60 airframe TM, scanned it, reduced it to 1/35, and transferred the floor details to the model. It didn,t quite work out and I had to make adjustments. I think the seats are just a bit oversized for their scale, at least in width. I say this because I was going to add the framing on the aft end of the troop/cargo doors, and with the seats installed it was not going to work out. BTW; there should be one more aft facing troop seat in the Academy 1/35 UH-60L kit.

The carousel looks good. Are you going to make all the Med gear too?

Am asking cuz Eduard gives plan of tie-downs in there instruction and it's a little different.

If I remember correctly it is the academy kit that i started a while ago. The "tiedows" are actually sanded down locaters for the troop seats that were molded into the floor.

As far as the real bird goes, the floors are the same in a lift bird or a med one. The medevac kit is a bolt in operation so there is basically no difference inside.

what kit is it? Italeri? I've noticed you made tie-downs for troop seats on the floor. Are they from Eduard or scrachbuild? and one more question: Is the allocation of tie-downs defferent on Medevac from the normal UH-60?
