Blackcat,

You've got a good kit there. With a little work and effort, it builds up very nicely. The color scheme is pretty simple. Your best bet is Model Master "US Army Helo Drab". It is basically a very black OD. Stencils and national markings are all in black. Cockpit interior is varying shades of flat black with seat cushions of either black or OD.

Hope that helps! If you've got any questions, etc, feel free to email me!

Blackcat,

The gun system isn't too bad. You've got the cannon, two suspension arms and the ammo chute to contend with. Here are a few reference photos and some info on the M230 cannon system that may be of some help in your build.

The kit does not come with the wire-strike frame around the cannon, if you want a current machine, you'll have to scratchbuild that with styrene rod.

I don't have access to my instruction sheets right now (they're in Dallas, I'm in NY) but I hope this helps.
Enjoy!

A model. There is no accurate D model in 1/35. The only D (kinda )offering is by Imex/Kangnam and it is simply their A model with a the radar added to the mast. No other D changes are in the kit. It takes a lot of work to actually make it into a D. Cobra Historian has tried it and will probably come up with a reply as well. It is easier to convert the Revell model into a D. Still a big project, but a better model to start with.

Have to agree with Jon here. Not a good idea to be posting your personal info on the web and in the open like that. Best to go direct with email after initial contact.

Jon and Gino are absolutely correct. You never know when some joker on here will put your address on some mailing list. Evil [}:)]

Seriously, this is exactly why the forum has that little e-mail link at the bottom of our posts.
