Here are a few pictures of my 1/72 MH-6 conversion that I just completed. I started out with the Italeri AH-6 Night Fox kit that I picked up at the Nationals here in Phoenix last year. This was the first ever conversion that I undertook. I added all the goodies that I could find in pictures or from some friends that work on the birds at Boeing. They were a great help with info on the helicopter.
I actually added more parts than I used from the kit. The conversion was completed with brass rod and styrene. I added a FRIES system to sides of the fuselage and a bunch of antennas found on the helo. Since the entire helicopter is painted in light black, I chose to stick with it and painted it all Testors Aircraft Interior Black. Detailing was left to a minimum with only a little dry brushing as all the pictures I can find show little if any wear on them.
I hope you enjoy.
