HMM-165, this is my Squadron.Bow [bow] We do not have this plane any more. She is now with HMM-161, in T.Q. I was with 161 but I broke my coller bone, in a bone head move on my Moto cross bike.

I was in 161, but I had a Moto cross O'CHIT, on the 4th of July week end. I was not med up for Iraq. So now I'm with 165. I just got the pins out last week. Collar bone.

I have a EA-6B about 98%, and I can't work on it at all. Can't work. Sucks, ya know.

Look at it this way...it's already the end of August, so a good solid month in PT and you'll be back in the air soon after. It's not fun, but it'll be worth it.

Where do you get these pics, they're awesome.

Bad news for Phrogs. Osprey squadrons are coming to the fleet starting in the spring according to the SgtMaj MC.

Yuck [yuck] I know, 1000 gorilla that is not going away. My flying days are almost over, I'm not going to get on that thing.

I'm going to stay a Phrog guy as long as I can. I'm down any how with my coller bone. Doc is a pain in the @$$

Semper Fi, fellas! I was poking around the site and stumbled across this thread and was tickled pink.

I was in HMM-165 from 99-01 and spent the better part of '01 in HMM-161. I was a crew chief on the old Phrog and chances are, a few of  my 700 hrs may be on that very bird (mine was Yankee Whiskey 03, by the way).  I have some pretty good pics of my own, if you're interested...
