Battle Phrogs from HMM-268 and HMM-364 shrink wrapped, on the ramp at NAS North Island, prior to boarding MSC shipping in 2002 for deployment to Kuwait for OIF.

Is it? I know Norm Clark he is the Phrog Tec Rep and he is the CH-46 GOD!!! He made the thing. He was with us, he had never done it. He has pics of the birds he took over to Nam for the first time, with 364 and 164, and they did not have it. But they were testing the thing, so that may be why.

On, I do not know what ship. I'll aske him for you guys next time I see him.

When I was in HMM(T)-164, I painted a plane for the POPASMOKE guys. And I had to do some research for the 1st Squadron patch. I got some cool pics off popasmoke.com.

I think Grandadjohn was referring to Hueys and Chinooks...I've seen some pics from Vietnam with Hueys in the big, white, trashbag...we actually referred to them as something else...Big Smile [:D]
