Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 1:55 AM
Ok folks...

Yay? -or- Nay?

On the main website, FSM is doing a new model survey questionare and in the 1:48 aircraft section the Chinook is listed as one of the most desired. So I want to see who here really wants it!?!

reply 'yay' or 'nay' Approve [^]

With all the talk since I joined this forum of our desire for a new 1/48 hook? Of course that was one of my choices (along with the CH-53E)!

So, that would be a yay from this modeler.

Yay....it was my sole vote in the poll's 1/48 category.

Yay!

I got tired of waiting, once upon a time, and spent the better part of a year rigging one of the old Aurora kits.

I figured some company would mass produce a detailed release after doing this... or maybe I did it, hoping that would happen! Wink [;)] Wishful thinking... hahaha

Voted in the FSM Poll, and enter my affirmative plea here.

Take care, Smile [:)]

Oldhooker, that is simply gorgeous! You need to start a seperate thread on that baby and post as many photos as you have. That interior shot is awesome (the exterior ain't too shabby neither).

A resounding YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also agree with the other ideas about the CH-53E and its various bretheren. Could we go a step further and throw in the CH-54A/B? The old 1/72 revell kit is long in the tooth and short on detail and worst of all, its 1/72! If we are going to dream big lets go all out. What do you all think?
