You might try your library to see if you can get some info there. That is where I get a lot of ideas from. My local library does not have all the book I need so I have them transfered so I can look them over.

Hope this helps.

Im not a grad student but time to spend on modeling is scarce for me too..

I know there are some sights out there, but I can't remember them right now, know there was a similar post on this forum not to long ago. Try this and see if it helps

Thanks for the answer! So I put them anywhere... (The problem is that I know very well that the books are perfect for these details, but being a grad student I really have to think about spending 10 bucks on a lunch even... that's why I try to use the internet and if I can't find something I ask it here.)

Varied from ship to ship and unit to unit, but items showed in the cargo area would be kept in reach of the gunner and the crew chief(usually in the center by the cargo cabin seats. Since the ammo supply for the mini-guns or the chunker was kept under the seats there was no other area. You just wanted it to be handy put not fall out. I would recommend Squadron's UH-1 Gunship Walk-Around and UH-1 in action books for reference

Hi,
I'm building the 1/35 MRC kit and I got the wooden box filled with grenades and have a few machine guns, ammo boxes, ammo belts, etc. I rather leave the crew out (I never use them), and I'm curious: where do you put these things inside? Where did they keep all this stuff when they were on the ground? (And the second fire extenguisher...)
What else should I put in there?
Thx
