                        list of helo units and type of acft down in LA?

                        I know there is a ton down there right now. I just don't know what units.
                        Here is what I know:
                        GA-NG 148th Med Co (AA) hueys
                        LA-NG 812th Med Co (AA) hueys
                        WI-NG 832nd Med Co (AA) hueys
                        GA-NG 171st gsab Black Hawks

                        anybody know any other specific units? I saw a 160th MH-47, regular Shithooks and a bunch of medevac/ non medvac UH-60s but don't know what units they are from.

                        G Co, 104th Avn (Chinook) is on the way, from what I know.

                        Isn't the 171st FL NG? That's Privateer17's unit

                        They are in FL and GA....Mac is in the GA company

                        Aha! Gotcha. Didn't know that. Anyhow, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole battalion was there. I'm really hoping I'll get down there by the end of the week. I think our hooks are already there, but I'm not 100% on that. Will know more in the AM.
