I have the masters from Ed's build. I'll make the conversion set within couple of weeks and put it in the Cobra line. Ed did great work but some of the parts are really delicate and require some "inventive" ways of casting.

Hi,

I e-mailed Italeri about the release of their UH-34J kit and they told me that it would be released in early November with an item number 1066.

Hope this infor helps.

In the same issue of FSM there was a list of 2005 new kit releases. Supposedly Italeri had annouced the re-release of the UH-34J Sea Horse 1/72, scheduled for September. However, as of today (5 Oct.), a check of Italeri's site relvealed no such kit available.

The list also said that Special Hobby was releasing a 1/72 kit of the Sikorsky CH-37 Mojave, and it has yet to appear.

Don't have the model or parts for you, but it should't be too hard to scratch the straight landing legs, especially in 1/72 scale.

Need a Revell H-34G

Hello all,
I am looking to build a USN SH-34J Seabat using Ed Barthelmes' article in the April 2005 FSM as a guide, but I need the Revell H-34G kit OR at the very least the "straight-leg" landing gear from that kit ( I have an Italeri '34D with the bent leg gear). If anyone can direct me to a hobby shop in their area that has one, if anyone has one for sale, or if anyone would like to sell me the needed landing gear parts, please send me an email. Thanks!
