Israeli CH-53 question
Posted by philp on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 1:50 AM
Working on the Italeri kit for a review for IPMS. Doing it in the Israeli scheme (only 1 color) and need to know the closest color match for the rotor head from the Testors MM line (or Tamiya).
Here is a pic

Can anyone help?

Looks like MM Medium Green or Interior Green to me.

Thanks Gino,
could be Medium green but other pics make it look more like the camo green they use on their aircraft. But I don't see a good match when I look at the jars in the hobby shop.

wow, it's alot different from US 53's. No blade fold lines, armor plating, mesh over the EAPS. It's Wierd, cool, but weird.

I agree with Gino - looks like either interior green or green zinc chromate
