did anyone else watch "kiowa down" last night?

D'OH!!!! I forgot that was on! I gotta go check listings for the repeat...

Man!!!I wish I could afford digital cable so I could get the Military Channel!
It sucks that all of us with basic cable get crap channels like "The Learning Channel" that now only shows a bunch of idiots redecorating rooms instead of showing actual interisting stuff like it used to.Same with the Discovery Channel,it should change its name to the Chopper(as in motorcycles not helo's) Channel.
The only decent channel left is the History Channel.
Yeah, I saw this program's commercial on the History Channel and thought to myself"Damn! Why do they have to tease us this way!
Anyway enough of my ranting,I saw a couple of DVD's at Best Buy this weekend with programs from the Military Channel so maybe I'll be able to pick it up there if it comes out on DVD.

I'm glad someone else has noticed what they have done with TLC and Discovery.
Discovery still airs some decent shows late at night but, daytime, early evening? Forget it!! And TLC? They should change the name to "How to Totally P!#@ Off Your Lifelong Friends and Neighbors By Destroying Their Favorite Room Channel". But, that would take up too much space. I have not LEARNED, as in the "L" of TLC, anything in the last couple of years except, don't let some short, balding fat guy redecorate your house!!!
Sorry to get off topic here, guys. But, I remember when WINGS was on Discovery and you could actually learn something by watching TLC. Now I can't get Discovery Wings. Glad I recorded their 18 hour marathon a few years back when they were still on Discovery. At least I can watch those.

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for the bike and car shows... They also still have the mega machines type shows. But it *was* better when they had Wings and that kind of stuff more often. National Geographic still has some interesting stuff, including shows about mil stuff once in a while.

A lot of those shows can be purchased on DVD for a fairly reasonable price sometimes though, if you don't get the channel.

the military channel used to be "discovery wings channel"...........I guess they decided to put all the military and aircraft stuff on one channel and all the foo foo home stuff on another one, and all the choppers and car stuff on another one........
