newbie question
Posted by halfpint33 on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 10:11 PM
I've recently gotten back into modeling after a 25 yr hiatus.I've been building semis and cars.Been lurking around here a bit lately and have been bitten by the helicopter bug.Was wondering what a good first model would be and could someone send in the direction of detail parts?

Thanks,
Gary

First off, what scale are you looking to build, and what era? There are lots of good starter heos out there. In 1/35th , there is the Bell-47 (OH-13) of MASH fame by both Revell and MRC/Academy, that is a good starter. Any of the MRC/Academy UH-1Cs are great too.
