How many Trump HOOKs will you buy?!?!
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 1:08 AM
Hi Guys !!!
Just wondering what you all plan to do once this beauty is released.
How many are you planning to buy and what do you want to do with details for it??? My self ,I would like to have around eight of them!!! I want to do an ACH-47A , CH-47A B and early C model of the Nam era and then do the CH-47C late and the D and F models. I would hope that Trump would soon after release a MH-47E SOA Bird because I'd love to do one of those too!!! WOW!!!!! How awsome is this going to be?!?! Now if I just could find some where I could find the Dragon 1/35 Helo crew set then I would buy around twelve or so sets so I could really add a nice touch to them.
Hooks rule!!!!

Wow Mark,

That's like $800 worth of Hooks! I for one plan on doing one of our birds from G Company's A-stan stint. Can't wait for this kit!

I'm of two minds on that: I don't know whether to wait for a MH-47E release or to get the CH-47D and do scratch building on it.

What ever I decide I'll get at least one of these helos!
BTW For this jewel I'm gonna break my rule not to buy someting bigger than a figure until I empty my to-do stash!

Looking at two in the long run, one to be finished up as an ACH-47 and the second as an MH-47E. Time and $$$ will dictate when those happen; plus I think I need to follow Avus's example and finish some kits before I pick up some new ones.

I'll get at least one...I don't know if I'd have shelf space for any more than that. No clue as to what version or anything like that. Plus, I'll have to whittle the stash down enough that adding this monster box won't set off too many alarms with the lady of the house.

One for sure! But not in next......at least 12 months - beside hellos there are other desirable projects))))) But one MH-47 defenetly in 1/35 will take its place in my showcase )))

Probably just one to start out with. I will probably eventually get at least one more, maybe two. Plan on doing a D model, an MH-47D, and possibly a Guns-a-Go-Go A model.

We shall see.

I guess that all depends on how quick I can get down to the local "Hobby Lobby" when they have one of their 1/2 off sales! Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D] Smile [:)]

A local Hobby Shop owner is giving me one to build for display in his store... it will be a "C" Model from the 147th "Hillclimbers". He wants it OOB, and that's good, because I can get a lot of insight that will help in the building of the one I buy; ACH-47A "Co$t of Living"Smile [:)]

Take care,

Oh, two maybe three spread out over a few years. One CH-47D that will be out of the box or adding some minor details depending on the detail of the kit. A MH-47E that I'll go all out on. Finally a second MH-47E that will be built as 'Razor 1' for an Afghanistan diorama I'm planning on building. The only question is, will I wait for a MH-47E conversion/release, or will I scratchbuild the beast immediately? Decisions, decisions. Oh, I kinda forgot about the lady of the house... I guess the answer mostly boils down to how many she'll let me have! Propeller [8-]

Hi guys!!!

Thanks for your input to my new topic!!! You all have great plans for this beauty!!!
I've noticed that a lot of you want to make a MH-47E with this kit, Very interesting!!!
I thank that this will be a real challange if you plan to scrach build the bigger side sponsons and big nose with this kit!!! Myself I'd rather wait for Trump to come out with that new kit or a conversion kit to come out wich I'm sure will be coming out soon after the release of this A/D kit!!

I'm still waiting for a MH-60K conversion for Academy's UH/MH-60 series.

The MH-60K is no where near as popular as the MH-47E!!!! It looks to me that the MH-60K has gone the way of the dodo. I never see it any where!!!! The AH60L DAP looks to have taken its place!!! I'm very sure we will be seeing alot of stuff coming out to do a MH-47E with this Trump Kit!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
